The great thing about toon sites is that you can let your imagination run wild – and so can the artists - so you’re never going to find the same content twice and everything is going to be a little bit out of left field, as they say. Here you have four kinds of toon drawings including 3-D and a form of Anime. There’s not a vast amount of content at present but most of it is exclusive, which is good, and you do get to access bonus sites and feeds too.

The content of toon sites tends to be varied, in my experience, and here at Gay Cartoon there’s no exception to that rule. The main content of the site (we’ll get to the other goodies later) are the pictures and, in that area, there are four categories: 3-D, BDSM drawings, Comics and Ranma. Taking them in order this is what I found on my recent visit:

3-D. There were over 3,000 images here and half of them were exclusive. In that exclusive set there were 50 stories, each one with a short text description followed by a set of images that opened to full size from a thumbnail page or two – making around 30 to 50 images per set. Full sized images (at 1020 x 780) opened in new windows and came with slideshow options too. The thing with 3-D animations is that they kind of look real but not – it’s hard to describe but I find them quite horny in their almost-human like qualities. I must admit I don’t know how they are produced but I love the way they are done. The exclusive set had a wide variety of stories in it (some that involved headmasters and ‘students’ were a bit close to the knuckle) and all worked in the same way. As did the non-exclusive ones which were also a good quality with decent sized images and easy navigation, hot storylines and an almost lifelike feel to them.

BDSM Drawings. Whereas the 3-D stories and depictions were rather straightforward (though sexy) the bdsm ones are a different matter altogether. Not only are they drawings, 120 of them in total, but they are much harder. You have all kinds of bondage and S&M scenes depicted here with guys tied up and being whipped, gang-bang scenes, fantasy sex and over-endowed and impossibly large guys fucking tight asses – think Tom of Finland, that kind go thing. The individual images very in size, some were 357 x 500 and others remained at thumbnail size for some reason.

Comics. This area had 585 images advertised but when I opened the pages there was only one comic story – non sexual – that had ten images, so I am still not sure what was going on there. Maybe this was part one of an ongoing series and the other pages hadn’t been loaded yet.

Ranma finishes off your picture area with three stories. Ranma is to quote from a web search I did, ‘an extraordinary anime cartoon from Japan in which a teenager turns into a red headed girl whenever he is splattered with cold water’. Here though it’s a very young looking guy, male all the time, and it’s not water that he’s getting splattered with. The cartoon series is hard-core and slightly unsettling as the older guy has a horribly red penis – you’re either into this kind of… stuff or you’re not.

That’s the main content of the site, apart from the stories. On that page you will find a whole heap (sorry – I didn’t count them but there must be over 500 of them) of short stories on a variety of themes. They’re not illustrated as you might have expected them to be on a cartoon site but they are a good read.

You have, on your main page, a list of what’s recently been added to the site. You are also asked to vote on the site and say what you think about it and this kind of feedback option is always good to see. Make sure you use it, after all you’re paying for the site so you want it to deliver what you want. The main page also contains samples of what is the top rated set and what has been most viewed, there are also illustrated examples of the recent updates so you can see what’s new. A more comprehensive list can be found on the News page or/and the updates page. Across the top of these main pages you’ll find a message centre and a link to the forum/message board for members of the entire network.

Yes, there is more than one site in the network though this – as far as I know – is the only toon site. When you join Gay Cartoon you will also gain access to the other sites and there are ten of them. However, when I checked the bonus page I only got a link to the webmaster part of the site and not to the bonus sites. I had managed to reach them before (through another site) though so this is obviously a temporary glitch. If the links aren’t working when you try then contact the webmasters through the contact and support pages.

There are though 138 non exclusive, feed sites to view and that link did work. You have all manner of extra content here in the form of video theatres that stream their own particular kind and brand of content. So all in all there’s value for money even if the toon content is a little thin on the ground.

Navigating the site and getting from one thing to another is just fine. The top menu is always available and you can easily jump from one area to the other. The galleries come with good navigation buttons and there are those slideshow options too – and you can download the pic files as zip files and get the complete collection that way.

There may not be a lot of cartoon content as yet (though there are lots of 3-D galleries the others are a bit lacking) but what there is is great to view and much of it is exclusive too. It’s easy to get around the site and find all the depictions of hard-core gay sex, much of which involves younger looking guys with older men and straight guys turning gay. There are bonuses offered – if you can access the sites - and plenty of feed sites too. Updates look to be regular too.
