For about the same price as signing up for a specific gay adult site you can sign up for Gay Movie Access and have, at your fingertips, thousands of hot porn DVDs. There’s no pay per view or pay per minute here, just one monthly fee and as many hours of hot movies as you can manage for the length of your membership. You can choose from all kinds of genres, the quality s good and the site is easy to use. No worries about not knowing what to watch, simply browse, click and enjoy.

It could take me days to tell you the full details abut the content at Gay Movie Access so I’ll try and be as succinct as possible to save time. I don’t want to keep you from clicking over to this great site but there are some things you might want to know first. For a start there are 25 categories of movies to choose from and the site states that there are nearly 7,000 titles. There are other ways of sorting through the library which I will look at later but for now I’m going to check out a category and tell you how things work.

Looking at the twinks category I found six pages of titles, obviously other categories will have more and other less, niches like Blow Job will have more because it is a more general ‘subject’ and some of the ones you find in that category will also be found in others. But back to the twinks: Each title has a box shot so you can see the cover. If you click this you go to the details page and you can also get there via a ‘details’ button. All nice and simple so far. (There is also a one or two line summary by the box shot to give you a very rough idea of what is in store.) On the details page you will find some good and standard information. There is the run time, so you now how long to set aside to watch the film, what kind of sex it contains, oral, anal etc. there is that short description and who is staring in it. Sometimes you are also told the director and usually you get to see what studio produced it. All you have to do then is click on the ‘watch DVD’ button.

You will need Widows Media Player installed as this is what opens up when you click the play button. If you don’t have it there is a clear link to the free download, so that’s taken care of. The movies I sampled played at 512 x 384 at 641 kbps. The quality was generally good and it didn’t take long fro the film to start to stream. What’s also good about the way you can view at Gay Movie Access is that you can fast forward and jump back if you want to. Some streaming theatres don’t let you do this and it can be a pain to sit through twenty minutes of ‘build up’, waiting for the cute guy to get his clothes off, but not here.

Back on the details page you will also see that there is a recommended list of other titles below the one you chose. The site employs the kind of things that other well known shopping sites do: ‘Customers who watched this DVD also watched the following…’ and then a list of other titles that other members also viewed. I had a quick look around at other titles to ensure that the quality was maintained and have to say that generally it is. I noticed a couple of movies that were a little ‘jerky’, they played and stopped, played and stopped but these were the exceptions rather than the general rule and it may have been to do with my connection. The higher connection speed you have the better the movie will run I guess.

So what studios are contributing to Gay Movie Access? You can use the ‘by studio’ link on the main menu to see the full list which gives you the studio name and how many titles from it are on the site. Find one you know, or just click to see out of interest and you will come to a page, or pages, containing all of that studio’s content. There were some studios here I had not heard of before, like Bavarian Boys and Eagle Video and some that I have known and liked for a long time, like Hot Desert Knight (23 titles) and Miami Studios (3).

As for stars appearing, there are some very well known names and some newbies too. In fact many of the guys were new to me and I got the impression that Gay Movie Access searches out new and hot material rather than relying on the tried and trusted oldies that we’ve probably all seen before. I searched for Geoff Stryker for example (big… well huge, star of the 70’s and 80’s and seen everywhere) and he was nowhere to be found. To my mind this is a good thing as it shows that the site is supplying fresh material.

That’s a very brief rundown of what is available when you join the site and I have to say that what the tour promises you is what you get. You can view full length movies from genres that start with Amateur guys, work your way through compilations, deep throat, facials, first timers and interracial then, after you’ve seen some mature ones you can finish off with reality, threesomes and twinks. It’s a great collection of varied content and you can watch as many titles as you like, without restrictions.

I mentioned a couple of the ‘sort by’ options above but there are other features that let you see the titles arranged in different and helpful ways. You can see the new releases including the date they were released and I noticed a lot of ethnic content had recently been added – or was coming soon, so there is plenty of hot Latino and black action coming your way. You can see what is the most popular, the most viewed, titles and top of the list during my visit was ‘Playing Games Italian Style’ from All Male Studios. There were some great sex scenes featuring some sexy hunks in there I can tell you! I can see why that one was so popular.

You can use the search engine if you want to find a particular keyword, for example ‘feet’ brought up three foot-fetish titles and ‘redhead’ brought up two – so whatever your kink you stand a chance of finding it via this neat little feature. All of these sort and search options are on the static left hand menu which is easy to use. At the top you have these ‘browse’ features and below it the list of categories with the link to the free media player software at he bottom. I the top part of this list you will see ‘bonus content.’ I’ve never heard of a DVD theatre having bonus content before so I was interested to see what it was.

There were five cam and dating sites to go look at, some of which had free access to various parts; these included Flirt 4 Free and Naked Sword Live. (You may have to pay for some other of their features.) And there was a free download to get you virtual guys stripping on your desktop; what fun! There were four pages of picture feed sites too but some of them were off line when I checked them out – a temporary glitch I hope. And then there was the ‘reading room’ which contained three pages of games and erotic/hard-core comic strip feeds. An interesting collection of bonus content, though I don’t know when you will get time to view it with all those hot DVDs waiting for you.

As for other features: going back to the DVDs, you can save any of these to your favourites collection and then click the ‘my favourites’ link to see what you have stored. I don’t know about you but I always use this feature when I first investigate a site. I’m in such a rush to see what there is that I forget what I wanted to come back to so I simply add it to my favourites and then, when I’ve finishes dashing about the site, I have them all there waiting for me – the things that caught my eye on first inspection. It’s a good feature for anyone wanting to return and view, or pick up where you left off if you get interrupted.

There is also a customer care area for any questions or problems you may have and you can contact the site directly this way. As for navigation this is simple, you have that menu I mentioned and pages open and re-open quickly. You simply click from one hot title to another, closing your media player when you’re done with it and remember you can even jump around a playing movie to fast-forward and go back.

With over 10,000 hours of DVD run time on this site be prepared to stay a member for a long time. And the membership fee is a reasonable one. It will cost you as much to join this site as it would to join a site that is genre specific, where you only get one kind of content. Gay Move Access has them all and loads of content in each category. Viewing the videos is easy – you can only stream but there are no restrictions on how many you can view in any one month.
