Ah ha! Here I am inside and I see straight away that the site is part of the GayLife Network, so we’re in for good quality and shared content – shared with some other sites in the network I mean. But that’s not a problem as there are also updates made here and there’s bound to be something I haven’t seen since my last visit to the network some weeks ago. Also we’re told that the videos are made available in various formats so I should be able to download or stream something very quickly.

I checked the videos first as I was wondering about the HD and connection speed issue. I clicked the ‘latest video’ image and came to its main page. Here there was a chance to download the whole movie in the HD version. It was a 163 Mb file that played in Windows Media Player at 720 x 480, there was also a version suitable for iPod that was 53 Mbs, and played 368 x 208. As for streaming, there were two qualities to view; a lower quality one that was 240 x 264 @ 275 kbps and a higher one at 640 x 364 @ 600 kbps. So no one would have trouble viewing these videos,

But that was just one video from the collection. The rest are to be found under the ‘updates’ link on the top menu – rather than one that says videos or movies. There were 53 titles spread over the two pages and their content was varied. Although it manly focuses on younger, smoother, slimmer guys there were others who were a bit hunkier. There were sexy young things in solo scenes but the emphasis seemed to be on couples and hard-core. The quality and viewing options remained good throughout and if you’re looking fro a neat collection of well made and hard gay porn scenes then this would be a good place to start.

Most of the videos come with galleries attached – well, screen cap galleries actually with images taken from the movie camera that are 640 x 480 in size. They’re actually not bad considering they are screencaps and they do take you through the whole scene and capture the parts of it that you’d want to view and keep. You can also get all the images in a zip file for quick downloading; then unpack it and you’ll have the whole set of 150 to 200 images or so. That’s a handy feature, as is the slideshow option that you can run so you can watch the galleries ‘hands free’. Though your hands won’t be that free for very long as the horny story unfolds in front of you. Oh, by the way – looking through other galleries at random I did find plenty of digital, ‘proper’ shots in the galleries too so don’t go thinking they are all screen caps, they’re not!

And as for other content? Well, you’ll see a link to ‘other sites’ in the top menu and this brings you a page of bonus sites. Some of the movies I was looking at came from something called ‘Beddable Boys’ and that was one of the bonus sites, so I may have seen their content already, or at least some of it. But never mind I’m sure there is loads of other content that we haven’t seen too. There is another gay site: GayLife Network itself (see our review of it in the Twinks/Gay Video section) but, to be honest, I wasn’t sure if I got to view it. Once you start clicking on the sites in the Exclusive Sites list you’re not sure where you are as each site looks very similar and has the same content – or appears to have; the heading changes and maybe the content is arranged in a different way but it does kind of look the same. Anyway it doesn’t matter as the content is great and there’s still enough to keep me happy for a month or two. And you can access some straight sites too if you really want to. Just enter your username and password when prompted and you have eight hard-core and solo straight sex sites to investigate.

I am still working my way across the top menu, which stays static by the way making navigation easy, and now I come to Extras. This page has three links: one to where you can buy a Fleshlight (male masturbation toy), one to Cams.com live chat (not entirely free, methinks) and one to AdultFriendFinder.com –where you can sign up to meet the man of your dreams. (Don’t quote me on that, I can’t promise that you will find him!)

Here you cans search the content itself by what kind of sex there is in it, the location of the scene, whether it’s hard-core or soft and even by actor’s name if you have a favourite guy and want to see what other videos or pics he appears in.

The last two links on that handy menu are to the support page and to a page where you can report a bug – if anything doesn’t work you can let the site know so they can fix it. So you see that navigating the pages is easy and even when you are in, for example, the galleries that top menu stays put so you can always jump back to home or start again. The galleries come with forward, next, first, last and home links as well as the slideshow and zip file download options. Going back to the homepage and you will find that update news I mentioned. This appears to be regular and it’s featured at the top of the page so you’ll see quickly and easily, when you log in next, if anything has changed. It also shows you what’s coming soon – and what date ‘soon’ should be so you know when to log back in to catch the latest pics or vids. The rest of the homepage consist of a members' poll and links to the Extras, latest videos and latest galleries.

You have a good collection of well made and easily accessible videos and galleries here and what’s more they are exclusive. There are great sort and search options to help you find exactly what you want to see, navigating is easy, there are neat features like photos in zip files and iPod suitable videos.
